JMS AG Jet Maintenance & Service was founded in 2010 in Lahr and specializes in the development, manufacture and distribution of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for aircraft maintenance and ground handling. The portfolio includes axle jacks (J-AXLE, 6 to 105 t), tripod jacks with the patented J-AMI locking system, towbars with a patented shear-pin design, service carts of the J-CART series, load-testing equipment up to 150 t, aircraft recovery solutions, engine handling equipment and Defense GSE. Product development takes place in-house in the company's own engineering department; manufacturing is handled by a network of certified production partners, using materials such as aluminium, steel and brass. Customers include airlines, ground handlers, MRO companies, airports and defense organizations, among them Airbus, Lufthansa Technik and Emirates. According to the company, more than 500 customers in over 100 countries use JMS AG products. The company is headquartered in the Black Forest Airport Business Park in Lahr.
