More than just a timber merchant – since 1887
Jochum Holzwerke GmbH is a fifth-generation family company headquartered in Zusmarshausen, directly on the A8 between Augsburg and Ulm. Its core business areas are crate manufacturing with packaging services for industry, in particular export packaging for mechanical engineering companies, as well as a timber trade store for end consumers and tradespeople. A special feature is its own conservatory production with patio canopies, which are individually manufactured to customer requirements. The range of services also includes precision cutting of all common sheet materials, planing of planks, boards and squared timbers, custom-made windows and doors, as well as an installation and laying service with its own carpenters. The company processes construction timbers such as solid structural timber (KVH), glulam and facade timber, and uses materials such as larch, bamboo and wood-plastic composite (WPC). From Zusmarshausen, commercial and private customers in the region are supplied; the exhibition area covers more than 2000 m².
