Johann Holtz GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1937 by Johann and Käthe Holtz in Bremen and is today run as an independent family business by descendants of the founding family. The company, with around 50 employees, plans, manufactures, installs and maintains lift systems – from passenger, freight, goods, small-goods and bed lifts to car lifts and shaft scaffolding. The new-build department works with CAD support and creates customised concepts on request, including glass cabins and barrier-free lifting platforms. A dedicated modernisation and conversion department upgrades existing systems, while the service department handles maintenance, fault clearance, repairs and passenger rescue as well as a 24-hour emergency call centre. As a regional provider, Johann Holtz serves the Bremen area as well as surrounding regions from Bremerhaven to Oldenburg and Emden.
