About Johann Maier
Johann Maier GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Stuttgart, manufactures and tests ultra-high-strength and corrosion-resistant fasteners – bolts, screws, nuts, washers, standard parts and drawing parts according to DIN, LN, EN, ISO and NFL. The complete manufacturing process takes place in-house: from material procurement and CNC-controlled induction hot forging, heat treatment, machining on CNC turning, milling, rolling and grinding machines, through thread rolling to surface treatments. Materials processed include titanium alloys, high-strength tempered steels, precipitation-hardening stainless steels, and nickel- and cobalt-based alloys with tensile strengths up to 2100 MPa. The company specialises in small and medium series and supplies aerospace, international motorsport, oil exploration as well as the defence and security sector. An in-house metallography and materials laboratory plus aviation-documented testing facilities accompany every manufacturing step. The 195 employees produce at two manufacturing sites in Stuttgart.
