About Schum Aufzugtechnik
Johann Schum Aufzugtechnik GmbH was founded in 2001 by Johann Schum and is a medium-sized company headquartered in Parsdorf near Munich with a further site in Erding. For over 20 years the company has been planning, building and modernising lift systems – from standardised product lines to customised special installations. The portfolio includes complete traction lifts (central machine room, MRL, cantilever) as well as hydraulic systems for passenger, freight and car lifts with payload capacities up to 20,000 kg. In addition, Schum Aufzugtechnik supplies components and spare parts – also for third-party and former LM installations – from its own warehouse with over 5,000 parts, often within 24 hours. The offering is rounded off by service and support as well as planning aids and calculation tools for lift projects. The team combines over 260 years of industry experience; since the end of 2017, Stefan Hartauer has led the management together with Wolfgang Bundlechner.
