Precision on two pillars: components and tools
Johne & Co. Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH in Dorsten is a service provider for contract CNC component manufacturing as well as a manufacturer of its own precision tools. Its manufacturing scope includes CNC milling (4- and 5-axis), CNC turn-mill machining, internal, external, surface and profile grinding, EDM (electrical discharge machining) and induction hardening. Materials machined include structural steel, stainless steel, aluminium, grey, ductile and cast steel alloys as well as rust-resistant and acid-resistant steels; a specialisation lies in heat-, acid- and pressure-resistant materials. Prototypes and series production are realised in lot sizes from 100 to 500,000 pieces with workpiece weights up to 500 kg. The tool division offers the MicroCut™ series (Innovation Line), tool holders and fine boring tools (Standard Line) as well as special tools. The portfolio is rounded off by engineering, sub-assembly pre-assembly including functional testing, test machining and inspection services in climate-controlled measuring rooms. Customers come from the automotive and aerospace industries as well as mechanical engineering and agricultural machinery; deliveries are made throughout Europe.
