About JOKARI
JOKARI GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business from Ascheberg-Herbern in the Münsterland region and a specialist in stripping and jacket removal technology for all types of cables and wires. The portfolio includes cable knives, stripping pliers and jacket removers for virtually all application areas in which cables must be processed simply, quickly and precisely – from the electrical trade to industry, power generation and telecommunications through to building technology. The entire value chain, from development and in-house toolmaking and plastics injection moulding to production, warehousing and logistics, takes place at the Ascheberg site. Materials used include hardened special and knife blade steel with titanium nitride coating as well as plastic parts made of polyamide and thermoplastic elastomers, some produced as two-component injection moulding. With few exceptions, the tools are TÜV and GS tested and are distributed via a partner network in Europe, Asia and North America. In 1966, company founder Josef Krampe received the patent for the first cable knife; today the family is already running the company in its third generation.
