About JOMESA

JOMESA Meßsysteme GmbH, headquartered in Ismaning near Munich, develops and manufactures microscopic analysis systems for determining technical cleanliness (component cleanliness) and oil cleanliness. The portfolio includes the optical filter analysis system JOMESA HFD, the SEM-EDX analysis system JOMESA PSE, the oil cleanliness system JOMESA MAT3, filter holders, particle traps, particle standards and laser-cut mesh filters. The image analysis software PicEd is an in-house development and has been continuously enhanced since 1987. Manufacturing is characterized by a high level of vertical integration: in-house CNC production on 3- and 5-axis machines for precision parts in small series, as well as production of mesh filters made of polyester (PET) and polyamide 6.6 in Class 7 cleanrooms (ISO 14644). Customer groups include the automotive industry and other sectors that must demonstrate component and oil cleanliness according to ISO 16232 and VDA 19. In addition to its headquarters, JOMESA operates its own sales and service companies in the USA (Troy), China (Shanghai), Japan (Tokyo), Korea (Hwaseong) and Brazil (São Paulo). In 2021, the JOMESA companies generated revenue of approx. EUR 25 million worldwide with around 100 employees.

Materials & Processes

PET

Polyester (PET)

Mesh filters made of PET are chemically stable against all rinse liquids and are the preferred choice in technical cleanliness applications.

PA 6.6

Polyamide 6.6 (Nylon)

Chemically stable filter fabric, suitable for aqueous neutral cleaners, isopropanol, ethanol, hydrocarbons and ketones.

Cellulose nitrate

Foamed filter membrane with a pore size of approx. 0.8 µm for fine filtration of test and rinse liquids.

Cellulose acetate

Foamed filter membrane for fine filtration, among other applications in combination with fine-mesh mesh filters.
