JOMMJOMM is a one-person company (sole proprietorship) with its registered office at Hafenstraße 25 in Mannheim. Under this brand, the MAQUA-Table is manufactured, a multifunctional stool or side table (32 x 32 x 45 cm, approx. 4 kg) made of 100% pure-grade HDPE plastic sourced from locally collected bottle caps and post-industrial waste. The value creation follows a locally established closed loop: bottle caps are collected through cooperations with schools, restaurants, kindergartens, hotels and companies in the region, sorted by hand in a workshop for people with disabilities or with a specially developed color sorting machine, and then shredded. Production takes place in rotational molding (rotacasting) at a production partner in the Netherlands, which enables small and limited batches; this process works without material loss and produces the hollow stool in one piece. Quality inspection and finishing are carried out by hand in Mannheim. Customers are private households as well as B2B customers such as co-working spaces, cafés, event venues and hotels, also with individual color combinations and custom production.
