About the Blässinger Group
Josef Blässinger GmbH + Co. KG is a technical wholesaler and manufacturing service provider for rolling bearings, plain bearings, miniature bearings, linear technology, drive technology, sealing technology, lubrication systems and tools. In its own manufacturing unit Blässinger Wälzlagertechnik (BWT), the company produces customer-specific special and drawing-based bearings, high-temperature bearings up to 450 °C, bearing modifications, turned and milled parts, brass cages and ready-to-install assemblies. At its machining center in Ostfildern, linear technology components such as shafts, profile rails and screw drives are configured – including cylindrical grinding, drilling, thread and broaching operations as well as special greasing. The Swiss subsidiary René Baer AG manufactures gears, racks up to module 12 and pulleys made of steel, cast iron, aluminium or brass. Customers come from OEM/original equipment, MRO/maintenance, special machinery and machine tool construction as well as the wood industry. Founded in 1930, the family business is now in its third generation and employs more than 180 staff at 13 locations in Germany, Austria (Liezen) and Switzerland (Lachen am See); headquarters and logistics center are located in Ostfildern near Stuttgart.
