About us

Josef Brüggemann Inh. Michael Flügel e.K. is a family business founded in 1963 in Iserlohn with two business areas: a stainless steel grinding shop and an abrasives wholesale operation. The manual grinding shop specializes in small quantities, special components and complex welded constructions that cannot be processed economically by industrial grinding systems and grinding robots. The range of services includes straightening, grinding, brushing and polishing up to mirror finish as well as preparation for electro-polishing. The pipe grinding shop processes pipes and hollow sections from 10 mm inner diameter up to 12 m in length, including pipe bends, fittings, piping systems and profiles. Upon customer request, grinding work is carried out on site on fixed, non-transportable objects such as vessels and reactors. The abrasives wholesale operation offers high-quality abrasives for all metals, especially stainless steel and special alloys such as titanium, Alloy and Hastelloy, in tailored packaging. Customers come from tank and apparatus engineering, medical and environmental technology, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, drinking water supply as well as the food industry and architecture.
