Fröstl Quarry – Family business in its third generation
Josef Fröstl GesmbH is a classic open-cast mining operation in family ownership, now in its third generation, extracting limestone and dolomite products for the construction industry. From its two quarries in Gießhübl (Lower Austria) and Wimpassing an der Leitha (Burgenland), the company produces crushed rock sands, rock chippings, crushed stone material, unbound base course materials uOT and uUT, rock rubble, ditch filling material, building stones, hydraulic engineering and ornamental stones.
