Josef Hansen GmbH & Co. KG of Solingen is a specialised wholesaler for fastening products, tools and machines with a tradition dating back to 1943. The family-owned company primarily supplies the wood and plastics processing trades, in particular carpentry and roofing businesses, as well as the trades and industry. The Solingen location stocks around 20,000 different articles, including screws, timber connectors, anchors, carpentry supplies, chemical-technical products as well as impulse and pneumatic tools; more than 70,000 articles are available online. On a total area of approx. 2,500 m² with a high-bay warehouse (1,400 pallet spaces) and a three-tier shelf system, orders are picked and shipped the same day. The range of services includes expert advice from trained staff, express delivery within 24 hours, short-notice procurement of special dimensions, a repair service with original spare parts as well as a sharpening service for saw blades and saw chains. Since 2012 the company has sourced 100% green electricity; shipping is climate-neutral via service providers.
