About Schulte-Ufer
Josef Schulte-Ufer KG Metallwarenfabrik is a family-owned company based in Sundern in the Sauerland region whose cookware has been sold under the SUS (Schulte-Ufer Sundern) brand since 1886. The product range includes pots, roasters, pans, woks, kettles and jugs, fondues, cutlery and knives, kitchen helpers, as well as gastro cookware for the professional kitchen. According to the company, the products are characterized by durable materials such as 18/10 stainless steel, iron and aluminum; one example is the UniverSUS surface structure, free of PFAS and PTFE, which is heat-resistant up to 500 °C. In January 2005, the company discontinued in-house production in Sundern and has since marketed products manufactured abroad – for example in Great Britain, Korea and China – which continue to be offered under the traditional SUS brand. In 2005, the partner company ROHE Germany was also founded for lifestyle articles related to cooking. The company sells directly through an online shop and a factory outlet in Sundern, and offers expert advice by telephone as well as complaint and service handling.
