About JOST
JOST GmbH is a family-run company founded in 1923 and headquartered in Iserlohn (Westphalia), specializing in the development, production and marketing of micronutrient and specialty fertilizers. The three main product lines comprise soil fertilizers based on metal alloys (EXCELLO, TERRAFLOR), chelated foliar fertilizers (FOLICIN) as well as Agrobacterium products (RADICIN) and substrate fertilization (RADIGEN). The long-acting soil fertilizers are based on metal alloys with nutrients such as copper, manganese, iron, boron, zinc, magnesium and molybdenum; in addition, iron-EDTA and iron-HEEDTA fertilizers are offered. Filling is carried out, among other things, in granulated form; a downpipe packer is used for packaging. Customers include agriculture, commercial horticulture, nurseries, landscaping and garden construction, viticulture, hop cultivation and hobby gardening. In addition to Germany, JOST supplies many countries of the European continent as well as markets in Asia, North America, South America and Canada. First included in the list of southwestern Westphalian world market leaders in 2013, JOST was again named world market leader for micronutrient soil fertilizers based on metal alloys in March 2024.

Copper
Component of enzymatic systems for carbohydrate and protein synthesis in plants; used in EXCELLO soil fertilizers and FOLICIN foliar fertilizers.
Manganese
Basis of the manganese fertilizer with 20% manganese distributed since 1970; promotes plant resilience.
Iron
