The JUCHEM GROUP is a family-owned company founded in 1921 and headquartered in Eppelborn, in the SaarLorLux tri-border region. For over 100 years, the company has been a partner to the bakery and food industry, combining this tradition with modern Functional Food Engineering. Its subsidiaries MEGRO, BERG BACK and JFI develop tailor-made system solutions for industrial food production in four plants with around 150 employees – from raw material refinement and functional blends and refined flours to heat-stable filling systems, texture systems for plant-based products and specialized sourdough concepts. The services include Functional Food Engineering, raw material refinement, in-house analyses and engineering support for customer production. Based on six functional modules, product properties are specifically controlled – from dough architecture to structure, volume and texture through to the nutritional profile. From Eppelborn, the JUCHEM GROUP supplies customers in 27 countries worldwide, with a focus on Europe.
