Mould making and plastics processing from Lüdenscheid

JuHa GmbH is a certified system provider for mould making and plastics processing based in Lüdenscheid (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company manufactures injection moulds used to produce technically demanding articles made of thermoplastics, silicones and multi-component combinations in high volumes – primarily for the automotive industry, but also for electronics and electrical engineering. The range includes thermoplastic, silicone and multi-component moulds, insert technology, hot-runner and cold-runner techniques, and injection moulds with integrated assembly. In thermoplastics processing, single- and multi-component injection moulding processes with automatic feeding are used; in silicone processing, highly transparent LSR is among the materials processed for optical parts such as lenses and collimators. The assembly department joins individual parts into system components using assembly robots and video monitoring. Around 90 % of the parts go to the automotive industry; customers are distributed worldwide, from Morocco to the USA and China. With an output of almost 15 million parts per day and over 3.5 billion parts per year, JuHa covers the entire value chain from the product idea to the finished part under one roof.

Materials and processes

TP

Thermoplastics

Processed in single- and multi-component injection moulding with special cooling solutions for short cycle times.

LSR

Silicones / highly transparent Liquid Silicone Rubber

Injection moulding according to the cold-melt-into-warm-mould principle, among other things for optical parts such as lenses and collimators.

2K

Multi-component plastics

Thermoplastic/silicone combinations, also with assembly of several parts directly in the mould.

WST

Tool steel

Machined by EDM in the company's own mould-making shop; the basis for precise injection moulds.
