About the Workshop
Julia Stern is a self-employed master goldsmith with her own workshop in Rellingen, Schleswig-Holstein. The focus lies on the production of individual, high-quality jewellery pieces in silver, gold or platinum – either to her own designs or to customers' specifications. The service portfolio includes, alongside new creations, contemporary remodelling, restoration of antique jewellery, repairs, ring resizing, design drawings, wax model making and individual metal alloys. Customers' precious metals are also credited, pearl necklaces are restrung, and hand, machine and laser engraving is offered. The workshop has five fully equipped workstations. In addition to contract manufacturing, Julia Stern offers goldsmith courses for one to four participants – since 2006 as an instructor for the VHS Tornesch adult education centre and since 2010 also in private courses. During her goldsmith apprenticeship she worked in Berlin, among other places, and completed a guest semester at the Drawing Academy in Hanau.
