About Juzo

Julius Zorn GmbH (Juzo) was founded in 1912 by Julius Zorn in Zeulenroda (Thuringia) and is a family business in medical compression therapy. The company develops and manufactures medical compression socks, arm and leg socks, compression wraps, night garments, gloves, bandages, and orthoses for the treatment of venous diseases, lipo- and lymphoedema, scar management, and orthopedics. In 1919, Juzo was the first manufacturer to knit compression socks instead of weaving; seamless socks followed in 1951, and latex-free products since 1962. Production has been taking place since 1948 in the main plant in Aichach (Bavaria); since 1980, the Juzo Group has operated a production and logistics center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio (USA) with Julius Zorn, Inc., as well as an office of Juzo Canada in Burlington, Ontario. Globally, approximately 1,000 employees are employed. Since 2011, the US location has focused on sustainability with wind turbines, solar power systems, and heat recovery from dyeing baths. Distribution is carried out through a dealer network with fitting and adjustment service.
