About JA² GmbH
JA² GmbH in Wettenberg, north of Gießen, designs, manufactures and distributes linear motor systems and actuators for highly dynamic applications in mechanical and plant engineering as well as the processing industry. On approx. 400 m² of commercial floor space, solutions with thrust forces from 11 N to 6,750 N peak force are produced, including linear motor modules, Pick&Place systems with parallel kinematics, magnetic springs and servo-electric swing-rotation modules. The value chain covers design and engineering of custom axis solutions, assembly and integration, cable assembly using crimping technology, as well as jig and gauge construction. Lot sizes range from 1 piece to series of 1,000; material flow is ERP-controlled and designed for just-in-time production. Every system undergoes documented incoming goods inspection, 100% cable testing, a one-hour assembly endurance test with noise and vibration monitoring, and a 100% final test under the four-eyes principle. Turnkey axis solutions with functional guarantee are delivered, supplemented by repair and RMA service as well as online support.

Additional services
Quality
All purchased components undergo documented incoming goods inspection; actuators are subjected to a one-hour assembly endurance test with noise and vibration monitoring as well as a 100% final test under the four-eyes principle. Every delivered axis is documented electronically for traceability, and a parameter sheet certifies the tested dynamic limit data.
