About Junior Kühlkörper
Junior Kühlkörper GmbH is a family-owned company based in Plettenberg (North Rhine-Westphalia) that has specialised for over 40 years in the development and manufacture of heatsinks and precision components made from aluminium. The product range includes more than 250 extrusion profiles in standard versions, customer-specific special profiles, large profiles as well as the 4000 series high-performance heatsinks with a frictional joining process. All heatsinks are produced at the home site in Plettenberg – on more than 70 CNC machining centres with an annual capacity of more than two million precision components. A 5-axis machining centre allows the machining of large components up to 16 m in length. In addition to series production, the company offers cooling concept development, thermal simulations, prototype construction and special solutions such as bonded or welded heatsinks as well as surface treatments. The products are used, among other things, in power electronics, automation, medical, energy and rail technology as well as aerospace.

Materials & Processes
Aluminium
Preferred material for heatsinks thanks to high thermal conductivity, low weight and good machinability.
Extrusion profiles with tolerances according to EN 12020 and EN 755
Industry standards for dimensional tolerances of aluminium extrusion profiles, according to which the manufactured profiles are produced.
