About us

JURA Elektroapparate AG, headquartered in Niederbuchsiten (Switzerland), was founded in 1931 by Leo Henzirohs-Studer and named after the location of its first factory at the southern foot of the Jura mountains. Since the 1980s, the focus has been on fully automatic coffee machines that prepare coffee specialties such as espresso, cappuccino, cold brew and sweetened milk foam specialties from freshly ground beans, not capsules. The product range includes machines for household use (including Z10, J10 twin, S10, E8, A8) as well as professional models for office and gastronomy (e.g. GIGA X8, X10, GIGA W10), complemented by care products, CLARIS filter cartridges and the J.O.E. app control. The headquarters in Niederbuchsiten houses administration, Swiss sales, customer service with a service factory, the Professional Competence Center and, since 2006, the JURAworld of Coffee visitor center. In Germany, sales and service are handled by JURA Elektrogeräte Vertriebs-GmbH in Nuremberg, JURA Gastro Vertriebs-GmbH in Grainau and a central service center in Singen. JURA is represented worldwide through its own sales companies and distributors; Roger Federer has been brand ambassador since 2006.
