About Jura-Guss

Jura-Guss GmbH is an owner-managed aluminium foundry based in Beilngries in the Altmühltal region. The family business, founded in 1953 in Ebenhausen near Ingolstadt, produces aluminium castings using sand casting and gravity die casting processes and supports customers from CAD design and simulation through in-house pattern and tool making to series production. Its capacity range extends from prototype construction through small and medium series to high-volume production; sand casting series production has been running on automatic moulding lines (including HWS) since 1988. Value creation is largely in-house: an in-house casting fettling shop with over 100 employees, machining (milling, turning, drilling, CNC), assembly and leak testing, as well as its own logistics centre. Customers include European automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturers, international mechanical engineering, medical technology and electrical engineering. The company employs around 350 staff, including about 25 apprentices.
