About justairtech
justairtech GmbH, based in Munich, is developing a highly efficient refrigeration system that uses air as a natural refrigerant. The target temperature range is 0–40 °C at any ambient temperature; the technology aims to decouple the electricity consumption and CO₂ emissions of refrigeration systems from their proliferation. The core of the technology is a fractal heat exchanger whose fine-structured helix geometry is produced by 3D printing and offers a large surface area for heat exchange despite its compact size. The first product is designed for cooling data centers; further products for commercial and industrial refrigeration are planned. Founded in 2020, the company is in the development stage; market entry is planned from 2028.
