About JUWÖ Poroton
JUWÖ Poroton-Werke Ernst Jungk & Sohn GmbH is a family-owned company of the German brick industry that has existed since 1862 and is one of the leading brick manufacturers in Germany. The company produces porosified wall bricks and flat bricks made of clay or loam, which are manufactured with pore-forming additives such as sawdust or wood fibers. The portfolio includes the THERMOPOR Plan series RX (thermal-insulating flat bricks), MZ and TV (flat bricks with rock or glass wool filling) as well as S and SL (fill-free hollow flat bricks made of 100% high-performance ceramic). In 1969, JUWÖ was one of the first licensees of the Poroton lightweight brick and manufactures brick building systems primarily for residential construction, from single-family houses to multi-story buildings. The focus is on monolithic construction without additional insulation materials on the facade. Germany and neighboring European countries are supplied.
