About JVL A/S
JVL A/S develops and manufactures integrated servo and stepper motors with power electronics, encoder and control built into the motor. The product range comprises the MAC series AC servo motors (50 W to 4500 W), the ServoStep MIS series integrated stepper motors (0.36 to 25 Nm), electronic motor controllers (SMC, AMC and SMD series), linear actuators, electronic brakes and the rotary index system TurnMaster. In addition to the standard range, JVL develops customised system solutions for applications that cannot be covered with standard components. The motors support common Industrial Ethernet protocols such as Profinet, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP and Powerlink and are designed for 24/7 continuous operation with a service life of at least 10 years. Customers include machine builders and end users, among others in factory automation, mechanical engineering, medical technology and aerospace. The company, headquartered in Birkerød around 20 km north of Copenhagen, is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and sells its products in more than 30 countries worldwide.

History
- 1980er
JVL earned its reputation through the development of modern, compact stepper motor drivers and controllers.
- 1990er
Introduction of AC and DC servo controllers, followed by the integrated AC servo motor MAC (up to 4500 W) and the integrated stepper motor QuickStep (up to 25 Nm).
- 2014
JVL and MAC095 were introduced for ground test equipment of Copenhagen Suborbital.
- 2016
Rocket launch with JVL motors in July 2016 (Copenhagen Suborbital).

Initial certification to ISO 9001:2015 on 11.07.2017 by Bureau Veritas.
