K.A.Wild Werkzeug- und Maschinenbau GmbH is a family-owned business based in Karben that has been active in tool, jig and special machine manufacturing for over 40 years. The company machines tool steel, carbide, stainless steel, brass and aluminium, among other things through CNC milling, CNC turning, surface, profile, cylindrical and jig grinding, wire and die-sink EDM, start-hole EDM and honing. In addition, K.A.Wild offers heat treatment (hardening and tempering), blasting, laser marking, the assembly of sub-assemblies and complete systems, and the installation of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems. The machine park comprises machining centres from Hermle, DMG MORI, Micron and AXA, various turning and grinding machines, EDM machines from Mitsubishi and Ingersoll, and a hardening and tempering furnace from Heraeus. Inspection is carried out in the company's own measuring room with a coordinate measuring machine, height gauges, a profile projector and hardness testers. Customers come from tool and special machine manufacturing as well as metal processing.
