K&B Kunststoffdreherei GmbH was founded in July 2009 in Lüdenscheid and specializes in the machining of plastics. The company produces CNC turned parts from technical plastics with diameters up to 130 mm on 21 CNC lathes as well as milled parts up to a length of 2,000 mm. Production is carried out according to customer drawings; drawings can also be created on request. Production runs from a single piece up to large series of up to 1,000,000 parts. Materials processed include POM, PA6, PTFE, PEEK, acrylic (PMMA) and PVC; the company additionally offers 3D printing and bellows manufacturing. Every year, around 50 tonnes, i.e. approximately 31,000 metres of round bars and sheets, are processed, which corresponds to around 20,000 parts per working day. The products are exported worldwide to more than ten countries.
