About K-BUS

K-BUS (formerly Kutsenits) is an Austrian bus manufacturer based in Hornstein, Burgenland, whose history dates back to 1948. The company develops and produces custom bus solutions: community and municipal buses, city and interurban buses, coaches, as well as airport and special-purpose vehicles. Production is carried out with in-house chassis and axle development, in self-supporting construction, with barrier-free modifications and alternative drivetrains such as electric and all-wheel drive. Development and customer support take place at the Austrian headquarters, while design, planning and production are bundled at the Slovenian plant K-BUS d.o.o. in Murska Sobota. Based on established vehicle platforms from Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Toyota and Iveco, small series and special solutions up to complete electric buses are created. K-BUS vehicles are in operation across Europe in public transport, municipalities, airport and coach services; the offering is complemented by repairs, conversions, telematics systems and spare parts distribution.
