K + F Kranbau und Fördertechnik GmbH is an owner-managed contract manufacturer in metal and plant engineering based in Inden near Aachen. Founded in 1991 as a supplier and service company for crane systems and conveying technology, the company today manufactures steel structures of every kind – from simple components to complex plant components. Its range of services covers site survey and engineering, manufacturing and industrial installation, plant construction as well as maintenance and repair, complemented by special solutions in special steel construction. As an approved specialist company under the Federal Water Act (WHG), the company manufactures and installs tanks, containment trays and pipelines for LAU and HBV installations. Its customers include companies from the paper industry, lignite open-cast mining, power plants, the gravel and concrete industry as well as tank and mechanical engineering; reference projects range from the cathode rotating device for aluminium molten-salt electrolysis to the rotating spreader beam for large transformers up to 500 t.

History

Founded as a supplier and service company for crane systems and conveying technology.

Jürgen Sieben joined the company, initially as master foreman responsible for the workshop.
