K. H. Klütsch Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH was founded in 1972 in Duisburg and is one of the oldest companies still in existence in the paper and film processing industry. The Klütsch knife manufacturing operation produces circular knives (upper knives, lower knives, disc knives, cutting bushings), straight knives, cutting bars and other wear parts as custom-made products based on CAD drawings – including shafts and gears – in its own production and without dependence on suppliers. For existing customers, industrial knives are produced in stock and delivered immediately as needed to avoid downtime. Beyond knife manufacturing, the group's range of services includes special machine construction, automation, robotics and process optimization, automated guided vehicle systems (AGV/AMR), tool changing systems, mobile cranes with lifting capacities of up to 90 t as well as air cushion systems and air cushion transporters with lifting capacities of up to 1,000 t. In addition, the company supplies and repairs industrial doors, door systems and loading bridges. The company is headquartered at Alte Kaserne 14 in Duisburg.
