Valve engineering and mechanical engineering since 1908

The long-established company from Heidenheim-Oggenhausen, formerly MARTIN LOHSE GmbH, was founded in 1908 as a structural and artistic metalworking shop and has belonged to K industries – ALTHAMMER GmbH since 01.08.2026. On more than 10,000 m² of production space, over 110 employees manufacture high-quality products in steel and stainless steel – from simple steel cutting to complete machines and apparatus. The portfolio includes valves such as gate, control and reject valves for stock preparation, paper technology (pulper, sorters, reject drums, fans), waste technology (waste disintegrators, dewatering presses, bio-mechanical wet processing plants) as well as industry-independent contract manufacturing with sheet metal cutting, bending, welding, CNC turning and milling and surface treatment. Custom-made pressure vessels up to PN 60, category III and IV, with up to 3000 mm diameter, 12 m length and 12 t unit weight are also manufactured as one-offs. Production follows certified quality management standards such as DIN EN ISO 9001, HP-0 with DIN EN ISO 3834 and DIN EN 1090-2 EXC 3. Customers include the paper, waste management, chemical, mining, pharmaceutical, water treatment, food, construction and biogas industries in Germany, Europe and overseas.
