K & K Sondermaschinen und Förderanlagenbau GmbH is a family-run company in Lommatzsch near Dresden, specialising in the manufacture of belt and chain conveyors. The portfolio includes troughed and flat belt conveyors, truss bridges with spans up to 40 m, steep-angle conveyors, apron conveyors, feed and dosing hoppers, mobile wagon transloading equipment, truck unloading conveyors as well as individual components such as pulleys, carrier rollers and drive and take-up stations. The company operates with a high level of vertical integration: in-house sheet metal fabrication with a fiber laser system (4x2 m) and press brake (320 t, 4.4 m), welding robots, CNC turning, a shot blasting system and corrosion protection up to C5 including edge rounding. Design and project engineering are carried out on eight 2D and 3D CAD workstations. Customer industries include agriculture, coal, quarrying, building materials, recycling, environmental engineering, chemicals and food. Around 65 employees work at the 30,000 m² site; consulting, planning, design, manufacturing, assembly and service are all offered from a single source.
