About K + L GmbH
Since 1996, K + L Holzverarbeitungs und -handels GmbH has been manufacturing wooden packaging in Appen (Schleswig-Holstein) to protect goods according to customer requirements. The product portfolio comprises wooden crates (sea freight, air freight and storage crates), wooden packing cases, pallet frames, Euro pallets (new and used), CP pallets, one-way and special pallets in two-way and four-way designs, packing, cover and top frames, mesh box pallets, as well as storage timber, dunnage timber and cut-to-size lumber from sawn timber, plywood and chipboard. The design and calculation of wooden pallets is carried out with the HPE version of PALLET-Express according to DIN EN 1995 and the load cases according to DIN EN ISO 8611, including finite element calculation. Packaging and pallet timber from sustainable forestry sourced from domestic and Scandinavian sawmills is used. K + L GmbH is authorized for the manufacture of wooden packaging for export according to ISPM No. 15 under IPPC and is registered as a packer. Deliveries are made with the company's own truck or by forwarding agent.
