About us
K.P. Mundinger GmbH Elektro-Spezial-Messgerätebau (KPM) develops and manufactures portable electronic moisture meters of the Aqua-Boy and Aqua-Piccolo brands as well as matching electrodes and accessories entirely in its own production facility in Renningen near Stuttgart. The company, founded in 1948, began with special electric motors and switched to moisture meter production in 1951, initially for wood moisture and later for raw materials and consumer goods of all kinds. The meters are used, among other things, in the wood, paper, textile, grain, leather, coffee, cocoa, tobacco, food and building materials industries. The value chain includes laboratory and development, mechanical production of individual parts including welding, hardening and spraying, electrical production with component assembly and wiring, as well as final assembly, testing and shipping from its own warehouse. The company offers calibration, test certificates, repair, small-series production and custom-made electrodes, and supplies customers in over 100 countries.
