K-TECH Electronic Vertriebs GmbH is a certified producer and supplier of packaging systems for the electronics industry in the field of tape & reel. The portfolio includes carrier tapes (blister tapes), plastic reels, cover tapes (hot- and cold-seal cover tapes), splice materials with connecting tools, moisture barrier bags, desiccants, humidity indicator cards, wafer frames as well as vacuum packaging machines and taping machines. Since 2011, custom carrier tapes have been manufactured at the Nördlingen site on 14 machines; standard tapes and open tools are available from stock. Since 2023, the plastic reels have been produced in Germany from antistatic, locally recycled polypropylene. With taping machines of the BK05 series (tape widths 8–120 mm) and the automatic feeding system feedy with image recognition and robotics, the company offers tape-and-reel packaging solutions of up to 40 components per minute. Its main customers are the electronics, microelectronics and semiconductor industries, in particular for the safe transport of SMD components. The company, founded in 1996 with 50 employees, is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and operates a 10,000 m² facility at its headquarters in Nördlingen.
