K+W GmbH & Co. Metallverarbeitung KG, founded in 1986, is a quality-monitored specialist company for metal construction based in Hille-Hartum near Minden. The company manufactures fire and smoke protection elements (T30/T90), fire protection facades (F30/F90, G30/G90), security doors up to RC4/C4, as well as fire doors, steel sheet doors and multi-purpose doors made to measure based on licensed systems from Schüco, Schüco/Jansen, Forster and Schröders. Production is carried out in steel, aluminium and stainless steel; in the well machine-equipped in-house workshop all welding processes are performed, including laser-welded stainless steel constructions such as push handles and special hollow profiles, as well as metalworking and custom fabrications of all kinds. As a complete solution, the service portfolio includes site surveying, installation from site setup to acceptance including dismantling and disposal, as well as maintenance and inspection of fire doors, hold-open devices and automatic drives. Reference projects include the Schüco Technology Center Bielefeld, COR seating furniture and the Heart and Diabetes Center NRW; deviations from approvals are applied for by K+W together with the approval holder as a project-specific approval (Zustimmung im Einzelfall).
