Kabelbaumfertigung Matthäus Nabe GmbH
Berg im Gau (Upper Bavaria)New on Amplifa
System supplier for cabling and electrification
Kabelbaumfertigung Matthäus Nabe GmbH (KBF) is a family-owned SME headquartered in Berg im Gau in Upper Bavaria. Since 1990, the company has been developing, assembling and supplying custom cable systems and assemblies for the automotive and machinery industries – from the first sample through pre-series to long-term series production with spare-parts supply. The entire value chain is in-house: development (harness design, E³-Series drawings, prototype construction), fully automatic wire processing with crimp contacting to automotive standard, high-voltage cabling for electric and hybrid drives, CNC parts machining on a Datron milling machine, low-pressure hotmelt injection molding for overmolding components, assembly manufacturing, as well as 3D printing, control cabinet and test bench construction. Materials processed include copper and jacketed cables, HV cables as well as aluminum and plastics. Customers include, among others, Tier-1 suppliers for electric commercial vehicles, OEMs of fire-fighting vehicles, the automotive industry (Tier 2, aftermarket), mechanical engineering and the test equipment segment. Every harness undergoes a 100% final inspection with complete traceability; quality and logistics (own delivery vehicles, consignment warehouse, container kanban) are fully self-managed.
