The KÄLTE-KLIMA Group, headquartered in Hameln, was founded in 1979 as the engineering office Bertuleit & Bökenkröger GmbH and today comprises six subsidiaries at six locations in Germany. With around 250 employees, the company plans, develops and implements refrigeration systems for industry, commerce and supermarkets, air conditioning systems among other things for retail, as well as heat pumps and special units in a power range from 1 kW to 2,000 kW. Around 600 projects are implemented annually and approximately 1,000 new refrigeration and air conditioning systems are built; more than 2,000 regular customers are served with over 40,000 installed systems. The service offering includes maintenance, a 24-hour emergency service and leak testing. Major customers are served nationwide through the joint venture temtec Kälte-Klima GmbH. Industry focal points are food supply and retail, healthcare, research as well as commerce and industry.
