Tradition and Innovation

Kärcher Tresorbau GmbH + Co. KG is a Pforzheim family business founded in 1899 as a craft enterprise, which for over 110 years and across four generations has been dedicated to security technology, safe and vault construction. The company is a specialist in the production of security cabinets and safes – initially for the watch and jewellery industry, later increasingly for financial institutions. On an administrative, production and storage area of over 2,500 m², manufacturing takes place exclusively at the Pforzheim plant site, with approximately 30 employees, around 10% of whom are apprentices. An in-house design department works with CAD technology, and a modern machine park guarantees manufacturing quality. The product range includes high-security cabinets, cash safes, commercial safes, furniture safes, data-backup and document safes as well as gun safes. The offering is complemented by service and repair of both own and third-party products, a 24-hour emergency service, maintenance, and the sale of used items.
