About Kärntner Mühle

Kärntner Mühle GmbH in Klagenfurt-Viktring is a modern industrial mill producing flour and flour-based special products. Its core competencies include the milling of wheat and rye flour, the production of special blends to customer recipes for the baking additives industry, the extrusion of cereals, and thermal treatment through drying, stabilization and modification. The products are then packaged as sack goods or retail-size small packs and delivered loose in silos via its own tanker fleet or palletized. Customers include the baking industry, the baking additives industry, commercial bakeries, pizzerias, retail as well as farmers; exports go among others to Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, northern Italy and South Tyrol. With its own brand Kärntner Korn, contract farming with Carinthian farmers and organic certification, the fifth-generation family business is the largest mill in Carinthia and in the south-east Austrian region.
