About Kässbohrer
Kässbohrer develops and manufactures semi-trailers for the transport and logistics industry. Founded by Karl Kässbohrer in Ulm in 1893, the company offers over 1,000 vehicle types, including curtainiders, platform trailers, container chassis, swap bodies, refrigerated bodies, box bodies, silo and tank trailers, low-loaders, tippers and special vehicles. Manufacturing takes place at the parent plant in Adapazarı (Türkiye), among other facilities in a low-loader factory with a capacity of 2,500 vehicles per year, equipped with laser cutting systems, welding robots and automated surface technology. The materials used are primarily high-strength steels such as S700MC and S460MC as well as aluminium; floor coverings are made of hardwood. In Germany, Kässbohrer operates a production and sales site in Goch as well as a sales branch in Achstetten near Ulm. The products are used in over 55 countries; the German sales and service network includes spare parts warehouses, 24-hour breakdown assistance in 23 languages and 27 countries, and K-Advanced Service locations for maintenance, repair and painting.

Quality
Welder qualification is ensured through the Kässbohrer Academy for Welding Technologies, founded in 2013, with TÜV and DEKRA certificates as well as 3D virtual reality welding simulation. For the transport of dangerous goods, vehicles are developed, analysed and tested in accordance with ECTA/DOW recommendations and ADR regulations.
