About Kaffeerösterei Bogatz

Kaffeerösterei Bogatz is a family-run specialty coffee manufactory in Forchheim in Upper Franconia. Founded in 2010 by Constanze and Dieter Bogatz, both graduates in food technology, we roast exclusively specialty coffees using a particularly gentle slow roasting process, which achieves fine flavour notes and particularly low acidity. The centrepiece of production is a cast-iron drum roaster from Giesen in the Netherlands, on which the green coffee is refined under the constant supervision of the master roaster. At its headquarters on Holzstraße, the roastery offers, in addition to a glass-walled roastery with live insights, roasting seminars as well as cakes and hand-made pralines from the in-house confectionery. The organic coffees (e.g. BIO Mexiko, BIO Peru) are certified according to DE ÖKO-006 and are sold via the company's own online shop as well as directly on site.
