About Kaffeerösterei Kirmse

Kaffeerösterei Kirmse is a sole proprietorship based in Zwiesel in the Bavarian Forest. Owner and coffee roaster Jens Kirmse roasts more than 30 single-origin coffees and coffee blends fresh every day, sourced from the growing regions of South and Central America, Africa and Asia. The green coffee is traded directly and fairly (Direct Trade and Fairtrade) and is predominantly available in organic quality with organic certification DE-ÖKO-005. Roasting follows old tradition in three roasting stages using a traditional drum roaster at a maximum of 220 °C for a particularly gentle roasting process. The company operates a café and retail store directly at the roastery, an online shop with shipping to Germany and Switzerland, as well as weekly public roasting demonstrations and barista courses. In addition, as an authorized Nivona specialist dealer, the company sells coffee machines, grinders and coffee accessories.
