About the Kaffeerösterei Martermühle
The coffee roastery Kaffeerösterei Martermühle GmbH was founded in 2009 in Aßling in the Upper Bavarian district of Ebersberg and roasts high-quality green coffee from all over the world in the old artisan tradition on the drum roaster. The range comprises more than 40 coffee and espresso varieties, including pure Arabica coffee, Arabica-Robusta blends and a broad organic range under the EU Organic Regulation (control body DE-ÖKO-060). The beans are roasted gently and low in acidity, are often purchased directly from plantations and are traceable back to their origin. Products are available as whole beans or in various grind levels, among others for portafilter machines, fully automatic coffee machines and moka pots. In addition to the roastery, the company operates a café with food in a listed farmhouse in the Martermühle hamlet as well as a B2B sales operation with deliveries throughout the EU. In 2020, the espresso Caffè Autostrada was named Espresso of the Year by the readers of the magazine crema.
