About us
Kai Pelikan Metallguß GmbH is a metal foundry in Bendorf-Mühlhofen (Rhineland-Palatinate), located on the site of the former Concordia smelter, where it continues a foundry tradition of more than 160 years. Using the sand casting process, the company produces aluminium and heavy-metal cast parts from 50 g to 400 kg as one-off pieces and small series, including for prototype development and based on 3D CAD data. In addition, the foundry realizes art casting in sand casting and lost-wax casting, in particular sculptures and reliefs in bronze, brass and light metals, working closely with artists. Further business areas include the custom design of lettering and memorial plaques as well as restoration, refurbishment and detail work in heritage conservation. Since 2018 the company has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 and supplies customers in Europe.
