Kai Plastics GmbH & Co. KG, known as Beuter Kunststofftechnik, manufactures technical injection-moulded parts from almost all thermoplastic plastics. The product portfolio includes technical plastic parts made to sample or drawing, micro injection moulding, special parts with internal and/or external threads, screws, nuts and washers in plastic similar to DIN, special screws, insulation board anchors for insulation materials, and plastic nail anchors. The in-house tool and mould making department produces CAD designs (2D/3D) and highly precise injection moulds; machining includes drilling, turning, EDM, jig grinding and 3D milling. Finishing services include printing (screen and pad printing), hot embossing, flocking, ultrasonic and mirror welding, and bonding, complemented by insert technology, assembly and sub-assembly manufacturing. Production takes place in Bad Berleburg-Berghausen on 35 controlled injection moulding machines from Arburg, Dr. Boy, Engel and KraussMaffei with process data acquisition via a host computer and CNC robotics. Customers are found in fastening technology/construction, mechanical engineering and precision mechanics.
