About Kalec-Motor
Kalec-Motor SA is a family business founded in 1947 by André Kalbfuss, now run by the third generation and headquartered in Puidoux in the canton of Vaud. The company specialises in electromechanical services related to pumps and electric motors: overhaul and repair in its own workshop, preventive industrial winding with maintenance contracts, stator winding (single-speed, two-speed and Dahlander motors) as well as the sale of standard motors, gear motors, soft starters and frequency inverters. As an authorised Grundfos Service Partner (since 2011), Kalec-Motor offers pumping solutions for drinking water and wastewater supply, industry and buildings, and maintains a large stock of Grundfos spare parts as well as bearings and overhaul parts. Equipped service vehicles and an around-the-clock emergency service round out the offering. In 2022, Frédéric Kalbfuss took over the Pascal Delafontaine SA; the merged workshops have since been united under one roof in Puidoux, with a branch in Villars-sur-Ollon.
