About Kalkschotterwerk Borsch GmbH
Kalkschotterwerk Borsch GmbH is a family company founded in 1990, now in its second generation, headquartered in Geisa-Borsch (Rhön-Grabfeld, Thuringia). Its range of services includes the operation of a limestone quarry and a sand pit, construction and deconstruction of structures, earthworks, road and path construction, demolition work with selective deconstruction, recycling of mineral construction rubble using transportable crushing and screening plants, renovation, and — as a certified waste management specialist company — its own skip container service with an earth landfill. Earthworks are carried out on construction projects across Germany, from the excavation pit for single-family homes to earthmoving of over 100,000 m³; this also includes hydraulic soil stabilization, vibro stone columns and slope reinforcement. The company employs around 150 staff across several companies and maintains an extensive fleet of vehicles and construction machinery including excavators, dump trucks, container vehicles, graders and roller trains. Bulk materials from its own extraction or from recycling are delivered to the construction site on request.
