Machinery construction for sawn timber processing since 1949
Kallfass is a family-owned machinery manufacturer in its third generation, producing machines and systems for sawn timber processing since 1949. The product range includes multi-trim saws, trimmer and cut-off saws, box and bin sorters, planing mills, stacking systems, bundling systems as well as wrapping and strapping stations. For glued timber production, Kallfass manufactures CLT/BSP presses for single-layer panels with lengths of 8 to 20 metres. All systems are fully automated, custom-tailored production lines with integrated safety and control concepts, including labelling with inkjet printers and connection to supervisory computers and ERP systems. The services cover the entire process: planning, design, manufacturing, assembly, programming and commissioning. The production sites are located in Klosterreichenbach (Northern Black Forest, Baden-Württemberg) and Wernigerode (Saxony-Anhalt); more than one hundred employees have realised over 1,000 projects for the sawmill and sawn timber industry worldwide.
